Japanese car ingenuity in 2007 Tokyo Motor Show

Aside from the high-end gadgets sand gizmos, Japan is also the home for several top automobile manufacturers, which includes Toyota, Nissan, and Mitsubishi, amongst others. To showcase such talent in car engineering, the Tokyo Motor Show is held every two years.

By the end of this month, the Tokyo Motor Show, which is now on its 40th year, is slated to start on October 27 and ends on November 11. The biennial motor show of Japan is set to display 37 upcoming car models from various local automobile brands. While the highlights of the auto show are the compact Japanese cars, the event will also unveil new models for the commercial vehicles as well as for the two-wheel machines.

Some of the much-anticipated concept cars include 1/X of Toyota, Puyo of Honda, Pivo 2 of Nissan, Pixy of Suzuki, and G4e Concept of FUJI. The long overdue Mitsubishi Concept-ZT, which is the latest installment for the Mitsubishi Evolution series, will also be part of the Tokyo Motor Show.
